Samoyeds are one of the brightest members of the gorgeous Spitz family. This beautiful snow-white dog is happiest when being active in the fresh outdoor air. Traditionally, Samoyeds were responsible for sled-pulling and reindeer herding – so if you don’t assert yourself, they’re more than happy to pull you and boss you around! These smiley dogs are known for their jolly, welcoming nature. Though they make great working dogs, Samoyeds are not cut out to be guard dogs – they’re more likely to lick a burglar than protect your home!
